My Background and Resumé
I am a multifaceted creator and educator. I have taught a diverse range of students over ten years as an arts educator, including students of different ages, social and educational backgrounds, and at skill levels varying from novice to professionals in their field. I believe in learning through discourse, practical application and deep understanding of the craft. My aim is to provide a structured creative space in which students can find their individual voices as thinkers and creators.
My experience in the performing arts ranges from stage to screen, in the roles of both performer and producer of content, allowing me to coach students from a pragmatic point of view as pertinent to the arts industry in South Africa.
